I am what I hate
my apologies to those who saw my bully this poem
a lady poetess was openly insulted in comment on one of her poems
I openly spoke out against her foul treatment
I was then insulted and challenged what was I going to do about it
so I wrote this person a poem
it was vicious
I know you were probably taken aback by my dark rage
I usually control it
but I was hurt on this ladies account
putting myself in her shoes
no it wasn't my place
I should have handled things better
and just reported the offending comment as abusive
my emotions sometimes get the better of me
my anger tightly controlled
slipped the chain
and I gave it to this guy full force
I didn't name him on the poem
so I fear I may have hurt--
the hearts and minds of those reading
not understanding its intended
really not even he deserved it
I'm deeply sorry
I hope you all can forgive me
it was evil

I don't see the point in lashing out in commenting on poems or in receiving comments - my strategy when hurt is to withdraw - which may be just as foolish

I agree beautiful Sweet One what happened is another poetess was insulted in a comment on her poem I saw it on the feed and defended her then I was insulted then I got pissed and wrote said poet a cruel poem which because I didn't name him on it hurt other poets not knowing why I would post such a thing... anyway I feel bad now...I should have report his comment when I saw it it's just I wanted him publicly to feel bad the way he made this poetess feel I'm sure... sorry for the ramble I needed to get this off my chest...

Anger itself is neither good or bad. It's how anger is presented that is healthy or unhealthy. The reason there is so many issues with anger today is trauma (which is a health pandemic) which teaches people to suppress their anger, but in doing so actually creates more anger.

don't feel bad about defending another person for right is right and wrong is wrong for it should had been addressed by your first thought to report it, but yet sometimes when we let our anger into the very equation of the situation we create more of a problem, for one should never let anger control ones mind leaving out of the equation the heart, for sometimes when the moment hits us we lose our own self control which makes us suffer with the hurt of feeling bad even though it was bought out to due someone eles own self in maturity of growth..don't be so hard on thyself in heart you were right but in mind anger took control over the situation dear beautiful soul..one love with respect

I am more guilty than you, as I read and understood. Remember that anger isn't always a bad thing. It is an emotion provoked by external factors and may be positive. Just like the rage of Angel in defending the purity of a child. I am not for turning the other cheek. I am sorry if I too exceeded but I will not stand by when a bully uses his /her attitude to intimidate or harm another. Verbally or physically. It wasn't honest criticism or a comment but sheer rudeness towards people that lay their emotions out for themselves, first of all, for those whom souls they touch, second. So bless you my dear friend for using your gift to help another person. I reported him after, but I couldn't stand by silent. So I too ask forgiveness to you and the other fellow poets and poetess.
