pull the pin
start your attack
wage ugly war
hold nothing back
poison the arrows
just like your words
put on thick armor
sharpen your swords
gather your Intel
send in your spies
put on your goggles protect prying eyes
print up propaganda filled with salacious lies taint the water
slay my allies
load your artillery
center your sights
bring in heavy ammo to fight this night
slash my throat
the coup de gras
bathe in my blood
bleed me dry
steal my last breath bask in victory
you couldn't have me now just another fatality
but I whisper from within the dark...
"I told you, the only way my heart can be possessed was to cut it from my cold, dead chest!
Now watch it decay and rott through your evil fingers.
leaving only my laughter in your ears to forever linger!"

Thank you Tim for pointing out my typo. I have read over that piece a million time and just didn't catch it. Anger doesn't come close to this muse. But you nailed it when you encouraged me to "write on". Writing is so cathartic. And when you get started you end up going through all the emotions that your muse inflicts. Like they say...DUP is better than any therapy, lol. Thanks Tim!
