Distance Remains
bleak black night
running stumbling flight
heart pounding head is light
tears stinging loss of sight
adrenaline pumping
wolves calling ears ringing
tripping scraping bleeding
fright disorienting
dark open glade
distance remains
pushing the limit
muscles strained
startled still unbudging
my scream all I hear
tumbling going down
complete silence no fear

I feel for you beautiful Minxy One
fear is crippling at times
my fear for example is of living without my husband
though I've known for some time our time together
was coming to an end because we aren't getting along...
this is darkly beautiful
I love the part where you make it
to the open glade...
fear what a handicapper

that I can't stand on my own...
