Can't escape

Before you declare
 whether or not
something is fair
 you best beware..
it all comes down to
how much you care
as well as
how aware you are
of the fact that
no matter where you're at or
what you go through,
how you feel depends on
your point of view
in that moment
but sometimes we
 see the darkness
within and around us
and drown in despair
and delusions..
sometimes we
believe the bullshit
we tell ourselves
which breaks our spirit
but we shouldn't fear it,
these endless existential examinations..
We can't escape
questioning or thinking
both deeply ingrained in our being,
cannot flee the feelings or
forget what fulfills us..
