Just happens to be

Things like this just happen to girls like me, I ain't nothing special.

Not some royalty, not full of tricks and special talents.

Not someone to show off or shower.

Things like this just happen to girls like me.

Nothing off the shoulders, just another bolder to keep warm.

A missing person, another soul gone.

Another pass by, not no drive by.

I can hussle it down, love you, touch you, but I'm not no rag doll.

Things like this just happen to girls like me.

Sometimes I wish my softness or vulnerablness was different, or maybe my age.

I really dont know yet but once I concur this hurdle, I'm sure I won't miss the girl you kicked.

I don't mind you kicking her, I kick her too, if only Wendy would grow up and stop playing in the nursery.

Drawing treasure maps, trying to attempt pixie dust to fly.

Things like that just seem to happen to girls like me, not no brave warrior running through trees.

Not some made up story to set my emotions at ease, not some play on words to make myself question my words at all.

Not some written pen falls, I am falling like fall, all the time, re birthing into some transparent light.

Flickers and dashes across my mind, things like this just happen to girls like me.

I don't even need be a "girl' if it helps fit what is needed of me, I am just me.

The girl who rose at 5 am to have a cup of tea with her father.

The girl who always insisted to rub my mums feet after work.

I'm just me the girl, who dreams, creates fantasy, creates, enjoy life in the slow motion frame.

It's fleeting as Robin William once said, it's stuck with me, forever made me bend.

Time is fleeting yet, so I'm going to capture everymoment in slow mo.

Time isn't so fast, it's not slow enough.
