Mary and Me

Think I found my rhythm in the middle of this muddle
Think I found my wisdom in the trickle of this puddle
Even with my energy good riddance, I hustle
Nothing come to anyone who isn’t in the struggle

I push and push and push until I open the door
I call this place my home and throw my coat on the floor
It’s never quite as cozy as you’d hope to report
But with a bit smoke it’s my utopia boy

Close the curtains, switch the tv on, and lay on the couch
The taste of Mary Jane like chocolate cake to my mouth
Momma always told me don’t you blaze in the house
Dad would be the one to make me take that shit out

Now I got no leader and I’m free to exist
Man they used to stress so much, they needed a hit
What they never taught me I found out through the grizz
Take my final hit and get on the internet

It’s like a vortex, filling up my cortex
Travel through the portal, my own distorted fortress
It’s like a vortex, filling up my cortex
Travel through the portal, my own distorted fortress

Mary, Mary, Mary, marry me, can you please
I could save the Amazon by burning amber leaf
Putting grams of weed in paper sheets
And make believe the greater things
The taste of tree, a great relief to me
