Everyday fades to black
The pain proves I’m living
Each dream a nightmare
Let me die
If God is looking down
Why am I here
Why won’t you let go
Let me die
What can I do
I breathe but it’s no easier
Just living the biggest lie
Let me die
I make a wish
That I was never born
But the wishing is dry
Let me die
Give me the peace I crave
No more believing
I’ve paid my debt
Let me die
There are no doubts
I don’t belong here
Just the awkward misfit

The world don’t own me
So listen to my plea

I used to struggle EXACTLY LIKE THIS (well spilled, Brother)
but not the same struggle today as i released my belief in a " God "
and now try to transmute negative thinking and emotion and send back to the universal source

the best thing that you are doing is expressing your true feelings as well as your emotions for it is better to release then leave it lock up inside...this is deep but your not alone there are folks going through the struggle just like you i have PTSD so believe me i say its best to let it through your writing then doing something that you will live to regret

I completely agree with the above comments, AP. Especially in regards to redirecting your thoughts and expressing them through poetry. It can be so cathartic and cleansing if we allow it to be. I do hope the veil lifts and things become brighter for you. You're a very kind person and talented poet here in the Deep.

As much as you have braved the rarest elements with your poetry, in such self-reflections, this one has my attention the most. It takes a special man to admit the state of his mind in understanding his limitation, his weakness, and where his strength lies. You take one day at a time my handsome poet and when you look back, you would have realized how far you've came through your trails and tribulations. I am always for you

I think everyone ends up in that place at one time or another. Let it out when you can. The therapy is free.
