The feeling of the sand
between my toes
the wind, warm
silken water deep
pickling my lips
how to write the feeling of the sand
was it gritty
what is gritty
outside of the
skin and the shoe
walking
or the sand
intimate
unwanted
expected part of the
holiday
sandiness in crevices
burnt into skin
dry and peeling
oiled and bleeding
roughly cut on rocks
seaweed smeared and thrown
salty and wild
with star light

The visceral details are effective for detailing the experience. I'd like to hear more about the milieu a bit. The sounds, smells, fill out the picture. Nice work and brevity has it's beauty.
