Perhaps it�s been
So long since
I�ve actually had
A close friend
Maybe I�m too forgiving
Because I let others
Hurt me
Time after time
Again and again
Perhaps I�m too nice
In some ways naive
Does that make me
A door mat?
For everyone to walk
On whenever they please
Maybe I should show
Courage and learn
How to say no
Put myself first for once
And learn to
Love myself more
