Fix What I Never Really Had

I'm content with
creating my own

Shunned and booted
from most of the
family I know

"It seems like we're burning bridges with
all the people we know. Well you with your
family, you know."

I don't control what they
do and how they do it
I'm just now having relationships
with folks who felt that I wasn't a priority

So I have to take second base when
it comes to them and I deserve better
Because its best to just fade into
the background without a sound

I'm not fighting anymore or begging
to keep ties that linked weakly and fray
so easily

This is just the start and not
the end
It sucks but there's no fire to put
out that I never started in the first place
