Some people think that a deranged mind
can lead to someone committing suicide
and to a certain extent that is true for a few
but a person with their full mental faculties
chooses suicide in the cold light of the day
it takes careful planning and a lot of thinking
where, with what, when a date must be chosen
one needs to be careful if it's worth doing,.......
these are people who are crying for help
they're not cowards they have immense courage

but we have to deal with the "Why?"
people who are deranged are tortured
real or imagined, they're driven to act
but how could we drive a person of
Sound mind to actually commit suicide
it's not the suicidals fault it other people
all suicidals are driven by others to act

the harsh words that you've used
the harsh words you have written
Ignoring forcing isolation and loneliness
that off-hand remark
you broke their heart
you beat them down
you then kick them
you offend them
you hurt their feelings
you reuse understanding
you never show empathy
you never show love
you bicker, argue and nag
your inertia cruel and unusual
you bully
you bait
you scream
you use and abuse
another person's suicide could well be your fault

What was the final straw that broke the camels back
one can honestly not know
but one can remember
how they treated that person

did you honestly do enough
did you care
did you visit
did you phone
did you hug
did you show love
did you show compassion
did you include them
were you there
when needed
I suspect the answer to most of these
if you're being honest is an outright "No!"

what if you treated them better
what if you included them
what if you talked to them regularly
what if you gave them a hug
what if you motivated a change
and treated them with love and respect
is that so hard for you
if its too hard you are weak
if its too hard you are worthless
if its too hard you are not the solution
if it's too hard then you are the problem
if it is too hard then you should dig their hole
you may as well have pulled the trigger

I have seriously tried suicide three times
until very recently I had a date, method
and a full proof plan, one that couldn't fail
in a short space of time, I could save up
a good supply of liquid morphine that
would kill and elephant stone dead
deinking four bottles of liquid morphine
would always be fatal: no point calling
an ambulance, in ten minutes it would
be all over, suicide can be painless

what could be my last straw
did you break it deliberately
did you break it accidentally
regardless you have blood on your hands
and you are an accessory before the fact
and you will be weighed down with guilt
and you will know deep down in your heart
when you are alone and the demons come
that you were responsible
too late the crocodile tears
if there is any karmic justice
you will be driven too
