Still
You are the most consuming unfulfilled longing of my life.
If desire has form and shape,
Breath and life,
It is bound in you.
You,
To me,
Are desires true name.
You are the impossible,
Yet the thought of you never fails me.
I want to be that man
To receive that kiss
That you would throw yourself into my arms
Because I meant that much to you…heedless of time and circumstance
Just a moment to be one in passion
Not love or lust
Just pure desire
Just for a moment
Just for that kiss
To be that man
Be your hero
And you,
You,
Are that moment that I live for
The very air
And this hope has never failed me
Hell is no more than n’er to have heard that first catch of your breath
That sweet draught which bespoke a, Yes!
Like waking dream electric in its vision
Captured in your every move
Even now,
It's you,
Carried here within…
Still -
