Salvation was always out if reach.

You promised to remove my
heart of stone,
that lies within this flesh
and bone.
Had I kept the faith of a mustard
seed,
would you have met my
ev'ry need?

Perhaps with blood, my sins
you did atone,
and I'm still left here all
alone.
Just outside of the law which
you decreed.
I would have rather watched
you bleed.

All of these things that you
cannot condone,
a perfect place to set
my throne.
Eternal seperation guaranteed.
Without your grace I still
succeed.
