I Along
Sounds of the waterfall
as it seams with the stream
so soothing
a solitary rush of serenity
surrending to the essence
the ethos of the earth
encrusting the soul
the shrill of the chipping sparrow
chirping in the breeze
I along, float in the ease
no pretense or pressure
pain pushed off as if a pill
penetrating, indifference of mood
feeling, finally feeling
a forest of fortitude
freeing and holding
on, as stars come out
and illuminate the night
as it seams with the stream
