i wonder if roses experience
growing pains
do their thorns cause them such agony
they think of giving up?

but then again
how can a thing of such beauty
ever grow without
a little effort?

Rupi really has been an inspiration for me for quite some time, so yes, I am indeed accustomed to this sort of writing style - but it's still daunting to try and write something directly inspired by one of her works.
