Lena's Poison

Lena is laying on the bathroom floor Again
Needle in hand as she breathes in and breaths out  
Watching as her world begins to spin around her
Feeling as free as a bird in the air how she loves the thrill  
 
Lena injects another round of poison deep with her veins
At 22 it's all she's ever known mommy and daddy taught her well
Taking hit after hit to forget their constant abuse
Sprawling out on the living room couch ready to be evicted from this hell
 
Lena can't afford her rent due to her addicting release
Landlord's hand wrapped around her throat growing tighter
Life growing darker by the endless seconds  
Then being thrown to the floor along with a two weeks notice
 
Lena is laying in an alley needle in her arms again  
Living in the streets doing whatever she can to get her next hit
Selling love to strange men every night her only escape is the drug
