Sheets of Rain

Past two years
And sheets of rain
Repairing her life
Healing her pain
Committed to home
She still feels displaced
He opens her wounds
Calling her
A disgrace
Clips her wings
From taking flight
Hell bent and
Determined to
Decimate her light
Feeds her poison
Watches her slowly
Die from within
He leads her
Back toward
The path of
Self destruction
Her life seems
Pointless
Her head now
Hanging down
Her body is
Now weakening
Shes ready
To bow out
Her thoughts
Are oscillating
As her mind
Sunders and
Fills with doubt
She falls
To her knees
Asking God
For just a sign
That her suffering
Serves a purpose
For her to
 Continue to fight
God is her
Only hope
As her world
Falls apart
She knows through
God is her only way
To help her find
Forgiveness for his
Attempt to
Murder her heart
