[font=Verdana]Her smell wafts up
enchanted snake I am
but one, having shed
my scales

and my tongue
tastes the air
heavy with her musk

She laughs
a sudden drizzle
and her legs coil around
my neck
making me powerless

I lie prostate

my head buried

the road lies ahead
sterile

I am an ocean-
boiling and virile
the million blinks
and twinkles
celestial death
in the field of vision

and the ocean touches
our skin
smelling of
the maddening
love juices

She gets up and
looks hard at me

I am a silhoutte,
soft yet hard, burning

I bite her lips
and her nails mark a path
down they rush
in search of

fingers clutch
and clamp and
skin gets brushed
the fire burns us down
as the pregnant breeze
blows and soothes
and the wet sand rises

Need and despair
and greed and distance
bleed and mingle
and dissipate as
fluid life

trickles

and tingles

and timidly

we dance

surrounded by
tiny sand dunes
and sifting sand
that soaks up
every drop,
sound and
moment

Till
non-existence.
