If can only an “if”

If I never bought you anything to hold onto that made you think about me, would you know that I still loved you? If you went in public alone & chose to lie to others just to make yourself feel good, would you still feel good. If I always wanted your sex, but not your heart would you continue to give it to me?
If I laid next to you but talked about moving on, would you still want forever with me? If I chose to ignore you, would you still stick around? If I caused you pain then why look back. If you knew I was a Martian, why expect me to be human?
