Dry Bones

Down in the valley
There's a love story unspoken
a tale of true passion
Death himself could not escape their grasp
Cusped between the constellations of what God had joined together
Birds of the same feather if you will
A battle that cost them their lives
This odyssey of holy matrimony
Only told in hell's gossip room
Did you see her in that final hour?
Him not even skip a beat,
gave her his last heartbeat...
lay down his life...for his wife?
Heaven recalls how their tears allowed for desert ferns to inspire television shows..
You wanna know where they grow?
Like crimson roses growing from concrete,
those which mere humans stopple under feet?
You wanna know,
just how far this ol' tumbleweed has truly traveled
It's only purpose to bring to thought,
how long do we, will we have to gaze into a lover's eyes...
In this intimacy, I see the story
A sword wielding
Blood sweat stained tassels
Marrow exposed the weakness of many men with you alongside me...
I parlayed with death
With a movement so elegant, only to question
Who dared to make such a warrior
In a daughter?
A man of valor, set like a seal upon her..
Enemies witnessing, love and death in this valley
With every strike, a lightening synergy
Send more zombies!
Testing the endurance of this breastplated zeal...
Teflon catacosmic divine handiwork
He worked in me...Its the Lord's doing
Death already defeated
Millions, millions, the cost of wars
The bodies, their soul energies taken as bounty
And after millennia, after millennia
Nothing has been like the
Love of these, two in holy matrimony
So together with bone upon bone
Seared with the enemy devoured by that same kitana sword
Forged by the crystallized tears she shed for these wicked things
I meant family,
over the years...89...89 years
we, fought in His army
He and she as intended from the beginning
To subdue and conquer
Finally, to study war no more
Allow their dry bones to lay together
For Love conquered death, hell, and the grave anyway...

Peace
