[ UH ] Universe House IX

Dear Ahavati,    
 
Today, I don't have much in the way
of a poem to say. As for Tomorrow,
my dreams of colonization with you
are precious cargo - we're stowed away
hand in hand on a rocket ship
bound for Mars; it's a one-way trip.
And the effort will get us to our new
Universe Home rather than return tickets
accompanied by grumblings of,
"All we got from being over the Moon
were these lousy t-shirts."
The countdown has already begun. Soon,
others will follow in our small footsteps;
red planets across galaxies shall likewise  
yield potted poetry - heart shaped
crop circles in a Venn diagram for two
under every sun professing in giant leaps,
"I am in Love with You."
