Image for the poem rain

the gentle rain of grace
lightly fell on my thoughts
misting my eyes--
with the beauty of the dawn
my mind cleared...
then serenity flowed through my soul's chambers
daisies smiled inside my garden of hope
the winds whispered their welcome
in this sacred place of remembrance
delicate was the day...
there would be no disturbing it in its temple
I yield to it's silent request--
that I bring no turmoil with me
a woman in repose thoughtful in intuition
I would caress the day that brought me here
not forcing my will in such a hallowed place
a place of knowing and growing
time stopped upon my entry in the sanctuary
it is a nether realm of healing
my soul fully undressed
rests in the eternal pools of wisdom
where I am sanctified in truth

a light bearer in a world of chaos
may these truths tie us to the place of ascension
steady our feet on the path
I look around and see my garden is a communal one
souls enter leaving their armor at the gates
converging today at this hour

we are one...
