Awaiting the kiss

Awaiting the kiss

We stood in the doorway
My hands wrap around your waist
As the clock tickling loudly
As almost in haste

We moved in closer
Our eyes are locked in passion
We Léger for the kiss
For just a moment in time

Our lips meet
We feel the sensation
No longer must we wait
To give into the sweet temptation

Our knees go weak
Our palms become sweaty
We go back to that place
That we have been so many times

As the world disappears
All that's left is you and I
As we pull away
We both feel as though we could fly
