Flowers on the Moon

Your heart is a star,
I look to your eyes.
I want to see only your smile
In the dawning of the winter.
If there should be tears in your eyes
I will kiss them from your face
And say that you are safe.

There are flowers on the moon.
I can reach them for your hand.
When I look up, I see a gift for you.
I would give you the sun
Carve our names into the flames;
And paint the twilight
Only for your sight.

Autumn brings red leaves,
And frost upon the flowers.
Through their perfume
I will build a castle
Where you are the king.
A garden of diamonds
Where it shall always be spring.
