HAUNT THESE BONES AGAIN

I can watch the whole world go up in flames
But I will not forget to place the blame

Remember to dismember
All our memories at the cusp of dusk
This September

Let the tragedy of summer blaze
Reduce to embers in a dying haze
The shadows of Autumn creeping in
To haunt these bones once again

Despise the icon that is the Satyr song
As Apollo spits curses at my bones

I'm over deep droughts when sober
Damn the misery of the hopeless rope
This October

Let the tragedy of summer blaze
Reduce to embers in a dying haze
The shadows of Autumn creeping in
To haunt these bones once again

Hollow is my tomb
Void but for the doom
My tombstone reminds
I've nothing left to lose

I'm haunted by the banquet's empty chairs
Phantoms gathered for the feast I've prepared

Remember my distemper
And give thanks today to the ones that died
This November

Let the tragedy of summer blaze
Reduce to embers in a dying haze
The shadows of Autumn creeping in
To haunt these bones once again
