how to lay in the field when you burn so hot, I would be ash to your glare  
the moon loves me most, his tender stroke lights me fair and pure  

smiling to myself as new air fresh and fragrant carrying autumn's perfume  
catches my fiery hair, sending it up in wild streams  
and i welcome it,open my arms wide and bask in its cooling flurry  

the earth at my feet sighing in relief to the rain squeezing itself from nimbus clouds  
common daisies purr against my bare skin, their days getting shorter  
carrying them indoors making them beautiful in their dying breaths  

glad to wave you off, blowing a kiss to your surrender
