I believe in democracy but capitalism lends itself to corruption and abuse. Our presidency is now a dictatorship. It's a sorry state of affairs.

Apparently "I-am-the-chosen-one" Trump wished to buy Greenland (whilst I was ill in bed last week). I mean, am I still delirious with a high temperature dreaming of an alternative reality?  -  better pinch myself hard to check  :))

Well what's next on the menu here in Brexitland is Boris has asked the queen to prorogue (suspend) parliament for 5 weeks - so he can push through no-deal Brexit without any opposition. Funny that, his Brexit mantra of "Take Back Control" was a bout protecting parliamentary democracy from the so-labelled ogre of the European Community - so whaddya know - in order to "protect democracy" from the bad guys, he wants to suspend democratic parliament. Hmmm. The same mentality as 'the final solution'

aye...Trump apparently wants to be King...
but little does he know...
that that "Head of State" is a figurehead ...
and has no power to wield from the throne
I wish someone could put him back in his box...and nail it tight
