Dangerous Mind
I’ve never been able to fit in
What society deems as the norm
I’m quite comfortable in my own skin
My presence is electrifying like a lightning storm.
My sarcasm is confused with dark humor
It’s not my fault so few can keep up with my intelligence
I don’t give a damn about the latest rumor
People have simple taste; I value elegance.
They say I have a dangerous mind
But they don’t understand
That I’m one of a kind
An extraordinary woman.
People often think that I’m from another planet
With how stupid they are, I’m bound to agree
Few will dare to have a taste of the pomegranate
Its forbiddance is a lie to prevent us from being free.
They say I have a dangerous mind
But they don’t understand
That I’m one of a kind
An extraordinary woman.
You cannot outwit me
You cannot enslave me
Tick-tock goes the clock; you’re running out of time
Beware my dangerous mind.
I thank God for making me the way I am
I wouldn’t change a thing for the world
Salute me as I pass and call me “ma’am”
I’m far more precious than my favorite pearl.
You cannot outwit me
You cannot enslave me
Tick-tock goes the clock; you’re running out of time
Beware my dangerous mind.
