Image for the poem Neither One Of Us

Neither One Of Us

Celestial souls in captivity
Hearts obscured in the illumination of enlightenment
Reality tasting the remnants of whispered desires
Blowing on hushed notes
A bed of winter blanketing the denials of caressing rapture

Once beautifully entwined
Falling stars gathered at our feet
Heaven cradled us in its morning glory
Sacred temples beautifully locked in abyss of infinity

Once laid bare your naked soul to me
In the cathedral of ecstasy
Christening my body on the altar of your passion
Surrendering moans dripping from the confession of my lips
In the depth of euphoria
Surrendering unto its fallen grace
The fragrance of lovers we wore
Or bodies crowned
Worshiping, bathing
Consecration as you submerged my Chi

Tasting of me the sweet offerings of my carnal ambrosia
Closing my eyes as our scent slolwy dissipates in the wind
Echoes without merit
Soft harmonic love notes faltering

Erratic heartbeats
Deafening in the sweetest surrender of its cadence
Kisses blending the silhouette of our existence
Stained lips in nigh

Onto the throne of ether
Reborn of bridged lasciviousness
