Staying Aloof

In the event of my demise when I've seen my last Sun
Will you shout & tell the world that I was a real one
Or be shooting gun rounds tarnishing my character
What'll your stance be when I meet an undertaker

Will you be faker than a crisp three dollar bill
Pretending that you loved me as your tears spill
When the real is that you wished for my demise
You wrote it in black & white so no need to lie

Some wear disguises like they're an innocent victim
Telling their side full of lies if you'll entertain them
I just ignore them all but they keep firing rounds
What will they say when I'm six feet underground

I'm still around regardless of their ill will
Using all the drama to make my ink spill
I've healed & my bill is now sucker proof
Rising above the clouds by staying aloof
