forever ceasing to be friends
will this be our last goodbye
if so, I can always say I tried
my soul is a pit of burning embers
that much you can never remember
that, baby, your flames are imperative
though my longing for you is primitive
it’s like the universe is giving blessings
with no design of what it’s out shelling
but you really stepped into the spot
hitting the mark as you shoot your shot
somewhere deep in this unrelenting world
hidden by all we who are just amateurs
it’s the place our souls can find peace
and tomorrow is always a guarantee

The unrequited parts have a joyful read
and the other parts a level of sad
i always find it strange that 2 people cease to be friends
when a crush is made public and the love not reciprocated at the same intensity
