Bottoms Up

They love the cry for war, the life of others is a commodity
The smell of death on their breath adds to the intensity
Each body no more than another log tossed on a fire
As the battle rages on, stocks continue to soar higher and higher

How much is it worth to see your currency bounce back
What if we took over the market and replaced soybean with crack
Would your country experience a change in power and wealth
If the market replaced corn with crystal meth

Those that be, realize that it doesn't take that much to create cjhange
Just let whoever declares war take their ass down range
You would be surprised how fast negotiation talks get underway
When war is declared, but the have-nots refuse to play

Whatever happened to the days when leaders lead their men into battle
A king lead his troops as sword clanged and shields rattled
The flippant suggestions of war simply is no longer there
Especially with the king knowing in the heat of battle, he'll be right there

Rich ass lords, earls, and barons dressed in armor to defend their land
Their purses can no longer help them, their country needs every abled body man
When did this all changed, shouldn't those that reap the most, fight the hardest
Are we reenforcing their smoke room talk that the have-not are retarded

Willing to sacrifice ourselves and even our very last born
For our many bannered masters that treat us with scorn
We rise yelling in defense of our chosen banner and land
While they sit in cigar smoke filled rooms with a filled glass in their hands
