The Reunion

As I lay Alexis down on a streatcher in heaven I see him
The big boss man shaking his head his head at me
I know he is disappointed but I had no other choice
I couldn't let them revive her only so her torment could start again

"I gave you one job Solomon and you did not do it." He growls
Rage in side me makes my halo spin and wings turn red
I show them phototage of the hell my sweet Alexis was living
I see God's expression change as he shakes his head

After my meeting with God I go back to the hospital
I see two people staring upon Alexis as she starts to wake
Matthew and Magdalena with tears of heartbreak and joy
Seeing there beautiful baby girl in heaven only means one thing

She's dead but she will still live on her in God's kingdom
She can marry and have children in God's kingdom
I hope they will not hate me for what I have done
Matthew sees me and comes and grabs me by the collar

"Why my Daughter? Why did you kill my daughter?" He cries at me
"I did not kill her..I saved her." I sigh with saddness in my eyes
Matthew look upon the bruises and scars on sweet Alexis
He shakes his head and falls to his knees yelling "I couldn't protect her."

I put my hand upon him and his wife as I shake my head
"Believe me when I say she will like it here much better." I whisper
That's when I notice she is awake and I quickly disappear
"Mama?" Alexis cries as she rubs her eyes

I watch from the window as they hug there child
Then listen to them explain what is going on now
"Alexis baby....you are dead...that's why you are here with us." Her mother cries
Alexis head drops as tears flow from her eyes

Then she tells them bout the monsters who beat her and starved her
Then shot her because she didn't take out the trash
The sinister reality of what her life was like on Earth
She will never be beaten up again because now she is here
