My father x x

My father.

Where do I start.

I was six years old, I remember the argument the night before.

We was packed up and pulled into my grandma car by mother, I remember holding onto the bannister screaming I didn't want to leave you.

I remember how hard it all was, I adored you father.

I would wander around the house, I remember the cupboard I got told to stay out off.

One day I had a sneak peak and saw all your army stuff.

You drank alot and slept alot, I used to think you looked like a cuddly Teddy bear.

I would draw silly picture with lipstick on your face and mum would take pictures.

Is sit with you and learn, skip rocks, dance with you.

I remember you teaching me not to fear fireworks, I hated you for it and screamed and cried.

You pulled me out my fear and gave me a huge hug on the other side.

You still do the same thing in my adult life. You teach me when I'm weak t be strong. Toughen up.

Its such a cool army vibe, you have always reminded me of miss doubtfire, how you would sing and dance, how you would drink your whiskey having a laugh, you bought us all the coolest gadgets and kitted us out with all the coolest sweets.

You always came and said goodnight.

You always made us a bru to warm us up and make us feel alright.

You taught us how to fight and sort it between ourselves, you taught us to be dependent on yourself and not depend.

You would take out phones when we ate, it taught us to engage.

You have us freedom to go camping, to be free, you built us a huge swimming pool for us to play in.

You have always taught me everything about the world and its always been with me and always will.

Where there is a way there is a will, and my pen is so fancy quill. Lol.

My father. Your light will always outshine any confusion situation you find.

We all do crazy things and I think yours are the best, you make me smile, you are yourself and that is the best.

I love you father. I love you more than I could ever show.
