Crazy Love

Love, is a strange beast that reconfigures the chemical constructs within our psyche.

It’s understanding that we each have life experiences that shaped us, prior to the way we are; here & now.

It’s like a drug, and I’m an addict for the exhilaration that unfolds when my senses are triggered through his raw beauty and his spoken & unspoken vulnerabilities, and those blue eyes pierce my soul to no end.

Just the thought of his blatant but methodical touch of his hand nestled into mine, and the warmth of his breath trailing my nape as he inhales the scent upon my flesh as he elicits goosebumps and raises my temperature through planting tiny halos with his lips upon my flesh, leaves me bewildered.

I want more of him all over me, and the hunger to feel him plunging into me, drives me insane as our tongues speak a different language whilst our bodies converse with accuracy, and make other plans to devour one another.

I’m triggered by his truths, in that it shines a light upon the way I supposedly neglect to nurture & nourish him, holistically; mind, body, heart and soul, and I wonder what went wrong besides the ocean that stands between us.

Did I not love him long enough, tender enough, hard enough, raw enough in the unspoken moments that I surrendered my whole being to him, whilst kneeling upon his altar ?!

There’ll come a day when all of those things won’t matter as much of the memory that emerges, when all is said and done.

So. Love, hard. Love, deep. Love, faithfully.

Love, as if you may never see your loved one, post closing your eyes each evening.

His love for me, taught me those things, and so much more.
