Her Masterpiece

Is it but I that longs to cradle
those arms, and dine upon those lips
a calling to me, one word at a time
forget the rhyme or the reason
it's meaning in every look
the plateaus set out before
and those mountains I've yet to took

Yes, it is but I, for only I have the will
the strength, and the stamina to fulfill
your patened verse, of night, of stars
thinking in the charming of your eye
spent glowing in a glistened dew
creating a masterpiece, us two
collated, collared, and twined
