(PRE)SCRIPTION

I feel so empty and numb
As I feed on the crumbs
Emancipated I find
Myself crucified

I come to you, Dr. Devlin
For a fix to bring me to life
'Cause I'm made up of body parts
Stitched together like Frankenstein

Can it be
(Pre)determined that I am terminal?
Will it be
(Pre)tentious that I'm an animal?

With your pad, with your quill
Won't you feed all my infections?
I feel I could just overdose
In this asylum of ghost
If you could just light a spark
And awake this fire in me

And here we are, Dr. Taryn
I am here to learn my secrets
Seems to me I've been a bad boy
Things you've said make the Devil blush

Can it be
(Pre)determined that I am terminal?
Will it be
(Pre)tentious that I am an animal?

With your pad, with your quill
Won't you write me a (pre)scription
Before I fall and overdose
In this asylum of ghosts?
If you could just light this spark
And awake the fire in me

Here I am at the end
Pushing against the walls
I've built around myself
Abyss suffocating
And my hands are bleeding
Windows are bullet proof
And my knuckles are broken
Can you hear me screaming?

It's that time now, Dr. Crimsin
'Cause I need to feed my demons
I know that you will understand
That I cannot leave them behind

Can it be
(Pre)determined that I am terminal?
Will it be
(Pre)tentious that I am an animal?

With your pad, with your quill
Won't you write me a (pre)scription
Before I fall and overdose
In this asylum of ghosts?
If you could just light this spark
And awake the fire in me

Can it be
(Pre)determined that I am terminal?
Will it be
(Pre)tentious that I am an animal?

With your pad, with your quill
Won't you write me a (pre)scription
Before I fall and overdose
In this asylum of ghosts?
If you could just light this spark
And awake the fire in me
