Safe House
this is us
ours...you and i alone
the stake we claim
in our little corner of the world
our secreted space of
sacredness simplicity and
serenity
here
where solace is king and
silence is queen
where the air takes on a
different meaning
breathing becomes less laborious
the day becomes a distant
indistinct memory
fading in the dusk of a
waning twilight

musk of man blooms as
love blankets your sensory woman
in tones of earthiness

bathing
away all judgments
beneath the soothing folds of your
soul's caretaker
as I faithfully stand vigil
over every emotion..every thought
gently pulling you aboard
my steady raft
amidst your river of strife
bringing calm to static
as I water the flowers in your attic
with attentive warmth

release and realize
a life lived..a path journeyed
a struggle endured
is never in vain..when you know
home is where the spiritual healing is
heartwarming..appreciative
and inner-standing
waiting with loving patience
within the oasis between my arms
where you are assured beyond all doubt
truth is spoken when I whisper
these three words

digging this piece if only folks could truly understand the true impact of those three words and what they hold when one SAY I GOT YOU that is a powerful meaning that some don't take to litely some take that straight to the heart
