Black Widow

Spin your web
black widow, black widow
bury your debt
black widow, black widow

You've broken the red hour glass
thrashing your back against the stones
I watched you over the brim
of my silver flask
destroying what is left of your home

You weren't like this before

Black widow
black widow

Ghosts of lovers
black widow, black widow
hung from your web
black widow, black widow

I wasn't there
when they all left
but I'm not sorry
though the guilt
still eats at my flesh

You want for nothing anymore

Black widow
black widow

You mourn like a liar
and do it so well
I am frozen, fixated
you waited, fangs there serrated
and I burned in your fire-
the ruins of your hell

Spin your web
black widow, black widow
the night is dead
black widow, black widow

It'll never go back to before
Oh, it'll never..

Black widow
black widow

Author's Note
I've kinda decided this one might be a story about someone helplessly watching a loved one slowly become a sociopath over years of trauma and abuse, then eventually becoming a victim to them. Idk though, come to your own conclusions. 😂
