intreat me  not  to  leave  your  side,
nor cease from walking with you.
let  me  come  where  you  go;      
where  you  live,  i’ll  s t a y.      
l e t   y o u r   p e o p l e            
b  e    m  y    k i n,      
y o u r   G o d      
m i n e.            
t h i n e
t h e   s o d
i’ll    l i e   i n,      
when  my   f e e b l e
years  shall  end  my  day.
nothing less, nothing more,
i   w i l l   f o r e v e r   be   t r u e,
while  i n   God’s  presence  i   a b i d e.
