Broken Heart

I'm writing this now,
Even though you've gone,
To express the feelings I have,
And had all along..

Although I think you know,
I want to make sure you know!
That they won't die too,
Always in my heart,
And I'll always love you..

It was hard watching you go,
I never put you down for being a quitter,
But give up you did..
And I haven't a clue what way to go,
Or direction to head..

I'm lost...

But that's not your problem now
So nothing for you to worry about..

I tried to see your boys,
And tell them how much you loved them,
But I was told my contact with them has now deceased too..
That's 4 people I lost in the blink of an eye,
Because you gave up on life and decided to die...

Days have been a much darker place since you went,
Did I tell you I lost my job..
I couldn't bear to face people without you in my life,
You promised to stick by me,
Become my wife..

But now you've left me..
I'm lost,
Did I tell you that already..

This life was meant to be just me and you,
Oh on top of losing you,
The kids,
My job,
The house has gone too...

I'm on the streets right now,
But that's ok,
I'll get through..
Our memory's are helping me with that..

And I have so many,
That I'll never forget,
And I'll make sure your never forgotten,
Because I love you so much,
With all my heart,
And although I'm alone,
And we are apart,
I'll be seeing you soon..

I have breathing problems,
And a pain in my chest..
The doctor said that now you have gone,
It's time for me to depart,
I'll be leaving this world,
Because of a broken heart.
