The scholar
Walking around, the same street signs as before.
I’m thinking, what do I really know?
Tho I’ve changed, my thoughts have never turned,
from the words we spoke
And now we’re miles away
So many things we can’t say
One day I’ll run away and life is what I’ll capture
I wonder what you’ll think
So if you ever hear my name,
and see lights all around.
Just know I’m living life fully,
don’t think I’m ever coming down
Got some things, on my mind.
Not really sure what I’ll do.
Maybe I’ll go ask the scholar,
but I’m sure he’s got questions too.
Thinking about, the times and the passerby’s.
Memories, and the, looks in your eyes.
I still look for what many fail, and many more try to find,
and I barely have the time.
