Billboard

Iíve displayed my soul on an old billboard
In the middle of a dark, deserted backroad

Of course itís for things old and outdated
Youíll pass it on your way to somewhere else Believing it speaks to another Them and Then

Itís worn and faded edges are curled inward
Itís contents once so vibrant now weathered
Worm-eaten posts stand looking precarious
But they are as solid as they can ever be now

Youíll pass it by without noticing itís details
Too many layers peeling, revealing its origins
Too many to take in as you steadily rush past Iíll stay and keep taking the storms for us both
Iíll keep all the secrets you donít mean to tell.
