generations
the splendour of the earth
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14 (NIV)
by the sweat of its brow,
the river bleeds upon the thirsty land
in its sojourn to find the ocean floor.
its perpetual flow
is more than i will ever understand,
just like the love of Him Whom i adore.
life beneath ocean depths
flourishes in the mystery of Your care,
each with its own uniqueness and its worth.
Your children You have kept:
creatures of all kinds living everywhere,
we occupy the splendour of the earth.
generations of souls,
meandering impulses of free will,
we wander toward an unknown existence.
we search for hearts made whole,
ruminate Truth—Your Holy Word instilled,
Your guidance and love always sufficient.

This 3-way Collab with flowergirl and TIG has been one of the high points of my DU experience. As fragrant as her name suggests, flower brought her sweet spirit and amenable attitude to the experiment. TIG demonstrated a willingness to plunge into unfamiliar territory without fuss or hesitation or lack, by his sheer readiness to learn.
Our Collab accommodated and protected our individual liberties, preferences, and idiosyncrasies.
The finished product comes from the hearts of three individuals who recognise the Hand of God in our lives. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: that's why we dare to share His Word.

& yes, i looked up the verse and Wow!
The last part of author's notes caused a verse ------ Romans 1:16 --------- to pop into my mind ; )
What was the music? I clicked on the link and rec'd a " Video Unavailable " screen ; (
Gorgeous graphics (as i now have come to expect) as always with perfect font reverse colors
For some reason the title and maybe the entire piece finds me listening to this song by Chris Tomlin:

Thank you for your kind and uplifting words. Coming from YOU, they mean much to me. Do you recall that my first ever Collab was with you, in March this year? Lessons I learned from that experience served me well in this 3-way experiment.
It is not even ironic that my very second Collab was with another part of you (the better part, at that!). It was a partnership with Sky. I believe the spirits of God-sent individuals such as she and you seem to come to meet me halfway, no sweat on my part.
Yes, Romans 1:16 guided that comment from me in my notes. I'll send you the music link via PM, because I believe you will enjoy this work ("Humoresque") by Dvorak, performed in "concerto" style (solo against orchestra) by Yo Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman. It's been one of my best-loved pieces since tertiary music study days.
Chris Tomlin's "How Great Is Our God" is an apt default to the mind of anyone who understands and reverences God. Yes, I know you know scripture and have a rich palate for the musics of the world.
TIG and flower were amazing, buying readily into my proposal for the tri-Collab. and then giving it their best.
Where do we go from here?
I'll tell you: my next 3-way Collab will be with my first and only two mono-Collab partners.

Dvorak: what a cool guy! His broad, sweeping music appeals to my sense of the grandeur of life and nature. I like "Humoresque" as one of his lighter works.

Sorry about the tardy comment, been out of range. Cab you have a rare gift that you share and this was no exception. Thank you for allowing me the honor of joining, and then taking the extra time to critique and challenge me. I feel better off than before. Blessings to you and your work.
