soon arriving at destination    
in your personal chariot    
or occupying a designated chair    
with your name already on it    
     
It may not seem like so    
at the current moment      
as if you've gone nowhere -    
caught in a fishbowl undertow    
     
which is a perfectly normal      
feeling to have before an    
actual difference is      
experienced    
     
Effort acknowledged    
is equal to validation---    
a receipt in exchange    
for having paid a toll    
     
but be sure not to confuse      
absence of desired change    
with    
not having done enough    
or    
having done something wrong    
     
I promise : you    
are always merely    
an event or two away      
from your dreams      
coming true today    
     
as long as      
today after today after today    
isn't unnecessarily spent    
second guessing yourself    
and undoing what was    
accomplished all along
