The Wish of Robert Browning
In 1835, Robert Browning wrote
“ I give the fight up.
Let there be an end.
A privacy.
An obscure nook for me.
I want to be forgotten, even by God.”
I pray every day that I have the strength to do whatever needs to be done and the strength to never feel I like I want to make a wish, like the wish of Robert Browning.
