Sing a song of suicide

The most important thing to remember when committing suicide:
Make sure you pick the right track to go out on when you die.
You don’t want to become a ghost, with Mmm Bop in your head;
You want ‘Who wants to live forever…’ Cheers Fred.

No you don’t; you want ‘Hurt’ by Nine Inch Nails.
Or anything by Marilyn Manson; nothing by Destiny’s Child.
Play ‘The Saga Begins’ by Weird Al Yankovich;
It will make you go out with a laugh at least.

KoRn will remind you how shitty life can be,
But at least you could force them to say:
The K@#0%! lyrics, I don’t know what to say.
Play something ironically titled, like ‘Here to stay’.

Take a ‘Hit from the Bong’ and go out on a high.
Play Bob or Ziggy Marley, anytime.
Smoke to ‘Easy Skanking’, while inhaling your ‘Kaya’;
Or make yourself laugh by playing ‘Do it Twice’,
When you are dying.

A Day in the Life is pretty cool to listen to,
But there will be no more Beatles, when you are through.
I hate myself and want to die –
Is this you for real?  Is this really Goodbye?

If it is the last song you will ever hear,
Make sure it is the greatest song in the world!
If you’re going then there’s only one song to go out to…
I can’t recall its name…This poem is just A Tribute.
