Busy behind the scenes
sneaking about curtained wings
working wooden levers
pulling the right strings;
the rope lengths people go
purely for sake of show
going on
their way
or no one else's way at all
Loose the chandelier -
let it fall where it may
ruining the play for everyone

There are certainly selfish people out there who would destroy another's happiness in a heartbeat. If they can't be happy or a part of it - then "by god no one will".
