Turning night upside down
Sinking into the black blanket of night sky
It drapes me like a oversized black gown, I just slipped on,
That I refuse to wear in the light of day
Wishing upon a star to stay up later
As my heavy eyelids start to droop
Just wanting to turn night around
Hold it upside down dripping it into daylight
Making stars in the process
Shiny stars
It drapes me like a oversized black gown, I just slipped on,
That I refuse to wear in the light of day
Wishing upon a star to stay up later
As my heavy eyelids start to droop
Just wanting to turn night around
Hold it upside down dripping it into daylight
Making stars in the process
Shiny stars
