Behind this masks self depricating smiles
only one or two know the fact
Internally I'm far worse than I seem
going through a controlled demolition of sorts

Collapse of self abuse hidden behind closed doors
these conceald cuts internal
two hours sleep after a five day bender
drugs and booze

Shower
freshen up
wash rinse lather
repeat
Paint that happy smile
venture out for a day
let the world see the guy
that laughs jokes
offers some positive outlook
a kind word

Better to brighten someones day with laughter
